Moon Cycle Tea

Organic Ingredients: Red Raspberry leaf, Stinging Nettle, Red Clover, Chamomile, Peppermint, Rose petals and Licorice root. 
This tea is designed to support the overall female system, especially during menstruation. It is extremely nourishing, replenishing us with essential vitamins and minerals. Even if you are not menstruating anymore, this is a wonderful blend to keep your female system in balance.
 
Raspberry leaf is the number one herb in this blend and recommended for female health. It supports the entire female system. It is one of the richest sources of iron and manganese. It's an incredible herb for pregnant mothers to help nourish the growing mother and baby with essential nutrients. It tones the uterus in preparation for birth making the transition easier.
 
Raspberry leaf pairs beautifully with Stinging Nettle for it's nutritive benefits as Nettle is highly potent in iron, calcium, potassium, silicon, magnesium, manganese, zinc, chromium and plenty other nutrients. It is also good for the reproductive system and along with Raspberry leaf, helps PMS symptoms and cramps.
 
Red clover is also very rich in minerals such as calcium, nitrogen and iron. It is an incredible blood purifier, helps with lymph drainage, liver cleansing and is high in antioxidants.
 
I specifically chose Chamomile and Peppermint because they are soothing to the stomach, stimulate digestion, help with cramps and ease bloating. Our digestion is slowed down during time of menstruation and is why bloating and constipation is more common during this phase.
 
Chamomile is a nervine, meaning that it calms the nerves and is soothing to the Nervous system, helping to balance stress and emotions. 
Peppermint helps balance energy levels and adds a really nice cooling and minty addition to the tea.
 
Licorice root is also wonderful for the reproductive system and effective for relieving adrenal exhaustion. It is a very moistening herb and really balances out the drying qualities of the other herbs while adding a touch of sweetness.
 
Lastly, we have the delightful Rose, I added Rose to this blend for it's connection to the Heart, bringing awareness to our emotional state and tuning us into our heart space. Which I believe is very important and healing during our time of bleed.
